Salt_Peter s...@peter.mtl alt windows-me I'll second that, the monitor "driver" is just an inf file that specifies the refresh rates that the display adapter can send the monitor (60 hertz, 70 hertz, etc). So using the PnP monitor inf file instead of the monitor manufaturer's proprietary shouldn't change anything.

If the image does get scrambled, re-boot to safe mode, and re-set display to minimal standards and try again with a different driver set.
